Where Can I Find The Best Beaches in Bali?
Any Bali holiday can be luxurious, complete with elegant hotel rooms with all the modern amenities as well as taking relaxing strolls to any of Bali’s beautiful beaches. Some beaches are heavily visited by tourists and, therefore, feature all the finest amenities available on the island. There some hidden treasures which are off the beaten path and ideal for you to try and visit.
One such hidden beach is the Candidasa Beach, a white sand beach located in eastern Bali. It lies at the foot of Mount Agung and is visible only when the tide goes out each day. Stroll along its warm, damp sands when it is visible or take advantage of the excellent diving tours that are available at nearby Tulamben. Snorkelling and diving are other fun activities that can be enjoyed in the area.
Sanur Beach is a popular tourist beach located near Denpasar, Bali’s capital. A coral reef protects the beaches there, whereby one of which has white sand and the other gray sand. White coral temples are another main draw of Sanur Beach, making it a popular destination for Bali holidays.
The black sand of Tegal Besar Beach lures visitors to that area on their Bali holidays. Located near the village of Banjarangkan, Tegal Besar Beach is a jewel of the island where you can watch the fishing boats come and go throughout the day. There are also sea turtle nests to observe, making Tegal Besar a destination for animal lovers, too.
Jimbaran Beach is located just south is Ngurah Rai International Airport and this beach is the home to plenty seafood restaurants and luxury hotels. Diners are able to select the live seafood which they wish to eat and have it prepared in front of them.
Legian Beach is a popular beach if you are looking to get a massage, manicure, meditate, exercise or busk under the sun and literally a five-minute taxi ride away from Kuta.
Lovina Beach is located in the north of the island and known for calm sea water all year round and has a gray volcanic sand beach. Visitors to this beach have the opportunity to experience watching hundreds of dolphins in the morning, only 1km away from the beach.
Padangbai is a fishing village located on Bali’s south east coast. Located approximately 40 miles away from Kuta, this beach is known for snorkelling and water sport activities such as jet skiing.
Holidays to Bali would be incomplete without spending some time relaxing on any one of these wonderful beaches.
