If you’re looking for the perfect place to spend vacation time – you’ve just found it! The Caribbean  has long been the playground of only the rich and the famous and now it is an exciting holiday destination for everybody. Low hanging palm trees above white sandy beaches and beautiful blue waters are not the only features that the Caribbean is about. It is so much more than this!  Here, everyone can find something for themselves.
Whether you are traveling here alone, with your family or having a romantic honeymoon break, the Caribbean is the place to visit. In addition to the beaches, you have tropical forests, exotic wildlife, sophisticated cuisines and  plenty of activities.  And this is just the beginning. The Caribbean interests you with its intriguing history, its rich and glorious colonial heritage, and grand architecture. What makes the Caribbean more interesting, is its diversity in communities and a true passion for life, which cannot be found in any other part of the world.

However, what makes the Caribbean so special are its beaches which are the most beautiful in the world. The view of coconut palm trees and picturesque cliffs will certainly take your breath away. There are so many Caribbean beaches and we are going to touch on a few amazing ones.

Aruba
Aruba’s beaches, and there are plenty of them, rank among the cleanest, widest, and most attractive of the Caribbean. Powder soft white sands, with some pebbles and stones, superb swimming, snorkeling peaceful water and some beach huts offering shade. For those who want to have a very relaxing, calm holiday Aruba’s beaches are really appropriate. Public nudity of any kind is illegal and insulting to the Aruban people. However, there are still many small beaches along the northeast coast, where you may be alone and do as you wish. Some facilities nearby, like sport centers are available right next to the beaches. However, most of the Aruba’s beaches are easily accessible by car, taxi, or by bus.

Bahamas
While there are certainly a number of historical attractions and fun things to do in the Bahamas, the main reason so many tourists make their way to the islands each year is for those famous white sand Bahamas beaches. They are considered to be a pearl amongst the Caribbean islands. Some of the best and most unspoiled beaches in the world are found here. If you prefer relaxing on secluded beaches, we have many where the only footprints you’ll see are your own. There are also beaches that deliver a variety of activities from shops, casino, sophisticated restaurants to water sports like diving and sailing. Surfer’s Beach is considered the world’s second best for surfing. And what’s more interesting is that you won’t have any problems with finding a nude beach here. It has to be mentioned, that Bahamas beaches are one of the most crowded of the Caribbean and that’s why it may not be good place for those, who want to relax in a peaceful atmosphere. And after all, there are thousands of beaches, so anyone can find the best for themselves.

Antigua and Barbuda
All of Antigua’s and Barbuda’s beaches are public. Some are totally secluded, some have resorts. Many of them have dazzling white sand and are protected by reefs so the water is warm and calm. On the Northwest coast the beaches are more developed with resorts providing water sport entertainment and restaurants. The locals like to brag that Antigua has 365 beaches, so you can enjoy one beach everyday of the year! What’s so special about the Antigua beaches is their pink sand color, which is in contrast to the turquoise blue waters and its view is completely breathtaking. Beaches in the southwest and south are less developed while some on the east coast are completely protected by reefs. You can also find rough surf. There are coral reefs for snorkeling and beach bars for lunch. Exploring the many beaches available can be fun.

Anguilla
The Caribbean island of Anguilla has over 30 beaches to explore, not counting those on the offshore cays and islands. A number of water sports are offered here including various types of sailboats and kayaks. There are no clothing-optional beaches on Anguilla. In fact, topless bathing is also illegal. All beaches in Anguilla are public, but there are no lifeguards on duty. The beach restaurants deliver delightful dining during afternoons on the beach, as well as outstanding evening dining with the relaxing rhythms of lapping waves.

The number and beauty of its beaches makes the Caribbean the best location to have a dream holiday. No matter what kind of vacation you wish to enjoy – active or passive, the Caribbean has a little something for everyone, making it a truly amazing holiday destination.
